Screw up' & 'Nail

A carpenter is a person who makes things out of wood, like chairs.
A carpenter uses both nails and screws. Nails are used with hammers.
Screws are used with screwdrivers. Nail and screw are also used in these
expressions.
Screw up: to make a mistake; to do something incorrectly.
“I don't know what I did, but I somehow screwed up the computer.”
Nail something: to make or do something in a perfect or impressive way
“I was worried about the job interview but it went better than I expected. I think I
nailed it.”
